Founded in 1979, Maryland Hall is a multi-disciplinary arts center whose mission is to provide exceptional opportunities for lifelong community participation in arts education, the visual arts and performing arts. As our region’s premier comprehensive arts center, Maryland Hall provides a broad range of arts-related programming for people of all ages, backgrounds and socio-economic levels. Each day we carry out our vision to be the area’s leading center for lifelong participation in the arts. As a community arts center, Maryland Hall offers myriad opportunities for artists and artistic organizations to interact with and be part of the Maryland Hall community. MHCA has four Resident Companies (Annapolis Chorale, Annapolis Opera, Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the Ballet Theatre of Maryland) and two Community Partners (Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra and VisionWorkshops).
